With Wristcheck, you have three ways to sell - depending on your priorities:

Consign - Drop your watch off at any of our locations in Hong Kong, Macau, or New York and we handle everything from there. Your watch is authenticated, issued a Wristcheck Timepiece Certificate, and professionally photographed before it goes live. From there, showroom exposure plus global online reach typically means more offers and a stronger final price. Most sellers earn the most through consignment.

List Online - Keep your watch until it sells. You'll need to bring it in for a pre-screening first, then ship it to us once a buyer commits. Without in-person viewings, selling may take longer - but it works if you're not ready to hand it over just yet.

Instant Sell - Speed over price. We match your watch with a ready buyer from our global network for an immediate transaction. Not all watches qualify - this program covers select brands and models only.

No. Every submission goes through an internal review before it can go live. Once you submit, a dedicated watch specialist will follow up - either to confirm your listing or to request more information.

You set the price, within our pricing policy. After your submission clears review, your specialist will share a suggested listing price based on current market data. You can accept it or propose something different. If your expected payout falls outside our suggested range, your listing request may not be approved.

Fees range from 6% to 12% depending on the price of your watch - the higher the value, the lower the rate. Your specialist will walk you through the exact figure after your submission passes review.

No. You can list your watch online without bringing it in first. Once it sells, you'll need to bring it in or ship it to us for full authentication and condition grading. Once it passes, we're good to go and the watch is delivered to the buyer.

To us. Every watch sold on our platform is authenticated and condition-graded before it reaches the buyer. Once a sale is made, you send your watch to the nearest Wristcheck location - if it passes inspection, we ship it to the buyer directly. Shipping to us is the seller's responsibility. In the rare case a watch doesn't pass inspection, return shipping is on you as well.

For local sales: once the buyer picks up the watch, the sale is final and your payout is transferred within 5 business days.

For international sales: the sale is final after a 7-day buyer return window. Your watch ships in a sealed membrane box, so its condition is fully protected throughout.

Yes. Your watch is fully insured for the entire duration it's consigned with us.

We ask for a minimum consignment period of 90 days to give your watch a fair shot at finding the right buyer. If you want to pull it before that, here's what it looks like:

• Within the first month: US$1,000
• Within the second month: US$500
• After 3 months: no fees apply

Packaging
Use a plain, sturdy cardboard box, not branded packaging, and seal it well with duct tape. Bubble wrap the watch and every accessory separately - the original box, papers, extra links, anything else that came with it. Exotic skin straps or accessories should ship in their own package. Reusing a box? Strip off any old hazmat labels or stickers first, they'll slow things down at customs.

Mark the outside with a small, non-obvious identifier (your initials or tracking number works) and write your consignment ID clearly on the inside, on a Post-it or directly on the cardboard, so our logistics team can match it the moment it arrives.

Sending multiple watches? Each one needs its own box. Don't combine pieces into a single package.

Before you seal anything, photograph the watch and everything going in with it: dial, caseback, bracelet, box, papers. That way there's a clear record if condition ever comes into question between drop-off and arrival.

Insurance
Insure the shipment up to the watch's final purchase price (the agreed-upon selling price) on our platform. Anything shipped outside of Wristcheck's arrangement isn't covered by our insurance.

Carrier
Use a reliable courier with tracking, FedEx, UPS, DHL, Malca-Amit, and Ferrari are all accepted. Once it's booked, send us the estimated delivery date and tracking number.

Timing
Ship within 7 days of receiving shipping instructions. If we don't see movement on the watch within that window, we'll treat the consignment or sale as void.

Customs
Declare the correct invoice value (the agreed-upon selling price) and purpose to the carrier, accurately. Any customs duties, taxes, or tariffs are on you.

Signature on delivery
This applies both ways. When shipping to us, select signature-required shipping with your carrier. When we ship back to you, an adult (18 or over) needs to sign, either you or someone in your household. If nobody's available, rearranging delivery or pickup with the courier, and any storage fees that come with it, is on you.

Where we accept shipments from
We currently only accept shipments from a defined list of countries and regions, mostly North America, Western Europe, East Asia, the Gulf and more - check the full list here. Not sure if yours qualifies? Check with your concierge contact before booking anything.

If we can't reach you or receive the parcel
Sorting out redelivery, and any costs that come with it, is on you. Risk of loss or damage stays with you until the watch is actually in our hands.
